Shoddy and Amazing

Saw a concert for a band I've been wanting to see live for close to a decade. Was sitting practically in their laps, front row seats next to a pregnant woman and a stoned white dude with dreds. Quite an evening. Simultaneously disappointed and relieved that I wasn't able to stay after the show for the inevitable meet-and-greet.

This after I spent the weekend on an island with 50 people who know ASL a hell of a lot better than me. Smile and nod, smile and nod.

And, I've finally conquered the beast that is public transit.
